• IT APPEARS PARTS ARE MISSING. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  We take great care to ensure that you receive all required parts, which are listed in the instruction manual. If you have completely unpacked the shipping carton(s), inventoried all the parts before starting, and believe something is missing or damaged, please contact ShelterLogic’s Consumer Support & Warranty Team directly at 888-891-5441, Option #2.

   

• WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE?

  Arrow Shed's instruction manuals contain step-by-step assembly illustrations and guide you from preparation through assembly to care and maintenance of your finished building. Each part is marked with a factory number for easy identification.

  But if you need to reach someone at Arrow, you can contact Arrow Customer Service, toll free, at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1) or via e-mail customer service. Careful preparation and reading our assembly tips also will be helpful.

   

  ASSEMBLY & MAINTENANCE - 

• DO ALL SUPPLIES AND PARTS COME WITH THE SHED?

  Everything to assemble your shed, except for the necessary tools, which you provide, comes in one or two cartons. Any accessory you have ordered from Arrow, such as a floor kit, base kit, shelving or anchor kit, will be separately packaged.

   

• WHAT TOOLS DO I NEED TO ASSEMBLE THE BUILDING?

  Required tools include: No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, pliers, work gloves, safety glasses, utility knife or scissors, carpenter’s level, tape measure and stepladder. Using a magnetic-tipped cordless screwdriver could speed up assembly time by 40%. If you use one, you may want to have an extra battery available.

   

• CAN I ASSEMBLE A SHED BY MYSELF?

  No. At least two people are required to assemble a shed of any size – at least one to position parts or panels, and one to handle fasteners and tools. On larger sheds, you may wish to have even more assistance.

   

• HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO ASSEMBLE THE BUILDING?

  Assembly time depends on a variety of factors, including roof design, tools available, DIY skill and the pace at which you work. Guidelines for each shed assembly are approximate AFTER completion of the base, and assume two or more people working on the assembly. Generally, you should plan on at least one day working with someone who can assist you; again, after constructing the base.

   

• HOW DO I DECIDE WHERE TO PUT MY SHED?

  The key to a successful assembly is to make sure the shed will be square and level when built. The shed can be assembled directly onto level ground (grass or dirt). If you have location options, choose one that is already flat, with good drainage to control moisture. If you don’t have a flat, well-drained area, you need to prepare the space. Level the area using cinder blocks, concrete, crushed gravel or other sturdy materials. Once level with good drainage, construct your base. Using a carpenter’s level, make sure your base is level and free of bumps or ridges to provide good support for your building.

   

• WHAT IF I CAN'T FINISH MY BUILDING IN ONE SESSION?

  If weather conditions change so that it becomes windy or rainy, it is recommended that you stop assembly until conditions improve. This is for your safety and for protection of the shed panels. But do not leave your unfinished construction without first temporarily anchoring the corners of the shed to your base and placing weights, such as patio blocks or sandbags, on the floor frame. Failure to anchor the building if you leave it while partially assembled could result in irreparable damage or personal injury if the building collapses.

   

• DO I NEED TO ANCHOR MY BUILDING?

  Yes! Fully assembled buildings should be anchored using a permanent anchoring system. If you need to leave your building before it is completely assembled, you will need to temporarily anchor the corners of the shed to your base, and place weights, such as patio blocks or sandbags, on top of the floor frame.

   

• HOW DO I TEMPORARILY ANCHOR MY BUILDING BEFORE IT'S FULLY ASSEMBLED?

  An incomplete building must be anchored before breaking for any period of time to prevent possible damage.

  • If the building is on a wood base, secure the frame with wood screws in the corners
  • If the building is on a concrete base, temporarily anchor the frame in the corners
  • Use patio blocks or sandbags on top of the floor frame as weights
  • Secure the floor frame to the ground with ground augers or rope the frame in the corners to the ground

   

• WHY DON'T YOU INCLUDE A BASE, FLOOR FRAME OR ANCHORING KIT WITH THE SHED?

  We don’t include them because you have a number of options from which to choose. You can learn more about these kits by visiting the accessories section of this web site. Both base preparation and anchoring kit are necessary for shed assembly.

   

• WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BASE KIT AND A FLOOR FRAME KIT?

  Both kits consist of a framework that keeps your stored items safely off the ground. The base kit is a framework that is assembled PRIOR to assembling your shed – a first step. It helps to create a square and level base upon which you can begin construction. The base framework must be finished with flooring, using wood, patio blocks or crushed gravel, or it can be used as a form for pouring a concrete floor. If you are not using an Arrow base kit, you will still need to prepare a base that is square and level. Our instruction manual specifies options.

  Our floor frame kit is a framework that slots into your completed shed – a last step – and provides an ideal framework for finishing with 5/8” exterior-grade plywood. It should not be used as a form for concrete. However, a floor frame can be constructed on top of a concrete base. You may choose to use either kit or none at all; whatever you choose, keep in mind that a square and level base must be prepared prior to shed assembly.

   

• WHAT KIND OF BASE DO I USE?

  You can:

  • Use an Arrow Base Kit
  • Pour a concrete slab
  • Build a wood deck/floor (use exterior-grade plywood)
  • Use patio blocks
  • Build on crushed gravel, dirt or grass

  Arrow provides a base kit accessory that is an option for most building sizes. If you are building a wood deck/floor, an Arrow floor frame kit on top of your base assembles in minutes and provides a floor frame suitable for a 5/8″ exterior-grade plywood floor (not included). A continuous unbroken plastic vapor barrier with a thickness of 6 mil. between the ground and the building’s base also is recommended.

   

• HOW SHOULD I MEASURE FOR MY BASE?

  While shed dimensions are provided in “nominal” size, nominal sizes are roof-edge measurements rounded to the nearest foot. These are not the measurements to use for constructing the shed base. So, carefully check the exact, recommended base size in the specifications for your shed model.

   

• HOW DO I ALIGN THE HOLES IN THE WALL PANELS WITH THE HOLES IN THE FLOOR FRAME?

  Make sure that the shed is level and square, with the correct floor frame size, and that the corner panels are installed correctly. Line up the large hole in the panel with the small holes in the floor frame. An awl can be used to help align the holes. Your building must be level and square in order for the holes to align. It must be square at both the top and bottom. Check that the building is square by measuring diagonally. The two diagonal measurements will be equal. If your building is out of square, carefully rock and push the shed until it is square. Also, try loosening the roof beams to give more play and flexibility. Non-alignment can also occur if your building is not level. You can raise corners and shim under them to make it level. Check that the panels are installed in the proper location. The building should not be permanently anchored until the complete unit is assembled; otherwise, you will not be able to make adjustments for squareness during assembly. Do not attach the bottom of the roof panels to the side wall angles until all the roof panels are up.

   

• HOW DO I ENSURE THAT THE DOORS ON THE BUILDING WILL HANG LEVEL?

  Make sure that the door track has been correctly installed, with the long leg on top and the short leg on the bottom. Check that the door slides are straddling the upper and lower legs of the door track assembly, putting the door slide only halfway in the track. Also, the rounded end of the door slide should be at the bottom and the square end at the top.

   

• WHAT IF THE REAR PANEL ANGEL AND CHANNELS ARE TOO LARGE TO FIT INSIDE OF THE REAR WALL PANEL?

  Check the dimensions of wall assemblies. They should be slightly smaller than the floor frames. Lay the assemblies on top of the rear floor frame and pull them up to the top of the wall panels causing the corner panels to stand erect and not lean inward.

  Caution: Be careful to not scratch the panels on the way up.

   

• THE WIDE RIB ALWAYS OVERLAPS THE CRIMPED RIB. IS THERE EVER AN EXCEPTION?

  This sequence is to be followed through the assembly process. However, this will typically happen once on the rear and once on each side wall (vertical wall units only) where there will be either two crimped ribs overlapping or two wide ribs overlapping. This may give it a tighter fit, but it will work.

   

  CAN THE BUILDING BE PAINTED?

  The buildings can be painted with an exterior-grade paint designed for use on steel. Contact your local paint supplier for recommendation.

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on back-order or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

If your order is in stock, and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order, unless specifically noted. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. Arrow Storage Products ship via LTL freight.

Once the item ships, the average transit time is approximately 5-10 business days.  Please note that some products may have longer lead times than others, depending on parts availability.  If there is a delay with the shipment of your product, we will notify you. 

We will provide you with the tracking information withing 24 hours of the item shipping.

All freight deliveries require someone to be present to inspect the shipment and sign for the delivery. The freight company will contact you to schedule the delivery appointment, so please be sure to provide accurate contact information during checkout. 

Damaged Freight Shipments

Great care is taken to ensure that your product is packaged carefully, without damage or missing parts, prior to leaving the warehouse.  Shipping damages can occur, however. 

Before you sign for your package, please do a thorough inspection of the packaging and pallet.  If there are signs of damage, please write DAMAGED SHIPMENT on the Bill of Lading, and REFUSE the shipment.  Please take pictures of the damages, and BOL, and email these to info@superiorgaragestorage.com. 

Upon receiving your email, we will file a claim with the freight company, and work with the manufacturer to have a replacement product sent to you. 

*Please note that if these steps are not followed, and proper documentation is not received, we will have no recourse with the freight company and they may deny your claim.

Concealed Damages

Product received which are defective or have missing parts will be handled through ShelterLogic’s Consumer Support & Warranty Team.  The end customer should contact this team directly at 888-891-5441, Option #2.

ShelterLogic Return Policy:

Customer Remorse Returns:  Products may be returned within 30 days of shipment under the following conditions:

• Product is unused, in original packaging and can be restocked.  Credit will be issued to the original payment method, upon receipt of product in restockable condition.
  • Any product returns received which are used / not restockable will be scrapped and cannot be returned to the customer.  There will be no credit issued in this case.

• Customer pays outbound and return freight; Freight Collect shipments will be refused by ShelterLogic at the dock.

• Product can be returned only with RMA issued by ShelterLogic Retail Team noted on packaging. 
• Please contact Superior Garage Storage at info@superiorgaragestorage.com, so we can request the RMA for you. 
• RMA statement is noted below: 
  • Please return the product under RMA # .  Please be aware that this RMA covers the cost of the product only.  It does not cover outbound or return freight.  Please insure that any return shipment is made either via freight prepaid or 3^rd party billing to your account.  ShelterLogic does not accept any Freight Collect shipments.  Incoming shipments which are Freight Collect will be refused by ShelterLogic.

Returns will be credited once received and confirmed that the product is unused, in original packaging and in resalable condition.  Returns received which cannot be restocked will not be credited and the product will be scrapped.
